In May 2013 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma, cancer of the Lymphatic system.

I decided that I would look at ways to get positives out of the whole situation, and fundraising for the Lymphoma association was an obvious one!

So I spoke to Barry Pitman the Chairman of the local bowling club about setting up a fundraising day and boy, did we have one!

We raised over £1000 on the day and had a great time!
