10 Jan Corporate fitness day

Busy one today! School drop off first thing, then two hours of PT this morning. A client has a v sore upper neck so TLC needed. Then two hours of Corporate #pilates over lunches with Synamedia and Taylor Wimpey.

09 Jan Early morning PT

First early morning training session this year. Up at 5.55am. Gonna be a mix of cardio (static bike HIIT intervals) with core, boxing and TRX work.

A new decade is upon us, new starts, new challenges and Macksfitness Ltd is now 10 years old! I’ve been a PT all that time, seen lots of different training fads come and go. And you know what the best fitness boosting, weight loss stimulating workout is……

Just good old plan hard graft!

Make those smart choices. Cut out the fats. Commit to train regularly. Take the stairs. Reduce alcohol. Walk to work. Get that overdue heath check scheduled.

Here is to a great 2020, and another fantastic 10 years!

19 Jun My life in her hands

This is Jane Lamb, my transplant nurse, who 5 years ago, was giving me my stem cells back, after 6 days of high dose chemo to save my life.

Now THAT is a stressful job right there!!!

01 May PREDICT study complete

My 14 days of the #PREDICTSTUDY are over. It has been very insightful with regards to eating, nutrition and habit more than anything.

I will be writing an article on my observations.

Oh and these were stuck in my arm for the past two weeks….

29 Apr Day twelve : PREDICT study

5lb weightloss and a shrunken stomach?! Back on my normal breakfast of Organic jumbo rolled oats, and it’s tough!! Been on #manymuffins for 12 days and I’m struggling to eat my porridge.Also, 5lbs lost in 12 days. Have not trained properly since the study so will see how the strength level and cardio has been affected this week.
